HCM CITY DEVELOPS NEW ECONOMIC ZONE FOR MARINE SECTOR

[05-05-2015] HCM City is developing its first special economic zone in the south of the city, encompassing districts 7, Nha Be and part of Binh Chanh and Can Gio with a focus on marine economy. The special economic zone covers the Hiep Phuoc Port, Phu My Hung urban area, industrial parks and other new urban areas, according to Hoang Minh Tri, deputy head of HCM City Research and Development Institute.

FDI IN REAL ESTATE REACHES $48 BILLION

[24-04-2015] Real estate will attract lucrative foreign direct investments in 2015 with the market recovering and Viet Nam set to join the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement and other free trade pacts. The Ministry of Planning and Investment's Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) announced this week that as of March 20, there were 475 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in the real estate sector with a combined capital of US$48.4 billion.

ONE-STOP-SHOP CUSTOMS MECHANISM TO BE LAUNCHED AT SEA PORTS IN MAY

[22-04-2015] Viet Nam Customs will officially launch the one-stop-shop customs mechanism at 9.00 am on May 6, 2015 at international seaports in the provinces of Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Da Nang City and Ho Chi Minh City.
