VBF, with support of BritCham, is pleased to organize the Economic Outlook H2/2023 Workshop aiming to share experts' perspectives on Vietnam's economic prospects in the second half of the year on Friday, September 8, 2023.

The Ministry of Public Security plans to organise a conference on “Sharing and acquiring international experience on penalties for administrative violations in cybersecurity”. The event aims to acquire and refer the wide range of international perspectives/ experience and fathom the actual implementation situation at local/ foreign businesses regarding penalties for administrative violations in cybersecurity. 

You are invited to join this special hybrid event co-organized by AmCham and EuroCham to learn the inside story and key outcomes from the February 18 Technical Sessions and February 21 High-level VBF with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and the outlook for Vietnam and the VBF for 2022. The event is co-hosted with Consortium Member Chambers BritCham, JCCI, KoCham, and other chambers.

VBF Investment & Trade Working Group (ITWG) is planning for an online meeting with the Ministry of Planning and Investment within July 2021. The discussion tends to focus mainly on challenges in implementing LOI/ LOE/ its guiding documents and obstacles to investment projects.

As you may be aware, the Government is drafting documents guiding the Environmental Protection Law 2020. VBF has been recently reached by the Government to share with the regulators key issues that VBF members wish to include/clarify in those Drafts.

The Forum will provide a platform to engage in a high-level policy dialogue with key decision-making Government officials. It will also be the opportunity to share with the business communities the meeting results as well as instructions by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at His Excellency’s private meeting with VBF representatives at the Office of the Government on 10th December 2020.
