URGENT: HEALTH MINISTRY TRACES PASSENGERS ON THREE MORE INT’L FLIGHTS

The Ministry of Health has released another urgent announcement calling on passengers on 3 international flights to immediately contact local Centers for Disease Control to have their health monitored.

The move was made after the ministry confirmed there have been COVID-19 patients on these flights, namely:

- Flight EK 392 of Emirates Airlines from Dubai to Ho Chi Minh City on March 12,2020;

- Flight BR 395 of Eva Air from Taiwan to Ho Chi Minh City on March 16, 2020;

- Flight TG 917 of Thai Airways from London to Viet Nam after transiting in Bangkok on March 15, 2020.

Booking offices shall also be responsible for informing the passengers on the aforesaid flights.

MANUFACTURING SECTOR HITS FOUR-MONTH HIGH ON STRONGER DEMAND

Vietnam’s manufacturing sector expanded at a faster pace in February, with the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) rising to 54.3 from 52.5 in January, marking the strongest improvement in four months, according to S&P Global.
