PM ASSIGNS DEVELOPMENT TARGETS SET FOR 2016

The Ministry of Planning and Investment is in charge of accelerating gross domestic product (GDP) in 2016 to around 6.7%; maintaining consumer price index (CPI) below 5% and total social development investment capital around 31% of the GDP. 

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was required to raise forest coverage rate to 41% in 2016.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is responsible for keeping trade deficit below 5% of  the export turnover which is expected to increase some 10%.

The Ministry of Health was asked to increase the number of hospital beds per 10,000 people to 24.5 and the healthcare insurance coverage to 76%.

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs was tasked to reduce the poverty rate (under multi-dimensional approach) by 1.3-1.5% and lift up the trained labor force to 53%.
