INCOMING TRAVELLERS REQUIRED TO PAY CONCENTRATED QUARANTINE FEE
People who enter Viet Nam and are subject to concentrated quarantine shall have to pay VND120 (US$5.2) per day, according to a proposal on quarantine fees approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
The figure include VND80,000 for food and VND40,000 for daily necessities at concentrated quarantine facility.
Those who choose to perform quarantine at hotels, resorts or other designated accommodations shall have to pay for the quarantine costs according to the policy of such places of residence.
All arrivals to Viet Nam shall have to undergo COVID-19 tests and pay for the testing costs by themselves.
For Vietnamese, the State will continue covering costs for COVID-19 tests for Vietnamese people in line with the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases.
The collection of fees will applied to arrivals to Viet Nam from September 1.
