HEALTH MINISTRY CALLS FOR CITIZEN COOPERATION IN STAMPING OUT 3RD COVID-19 WAVE
The Ministry of Health has called on citizens to cooperate with the Government in order to help quickly stamp out the third wave of COVID-19.
In its latest announcement, the ministry explained that the move was made as up to 20% of people tested positive for COVID-19 (F0) did not cooperate with competent authorities and hundreds of F1 (individuals who have been in close contact with F0) did not report emergency situation themselves.
The Ministry asked citizens to directly inform the Government via platform antoancovid.vn when:
(i) Suspecting that they or their family members contract COVID-19 or detecting those who have come in close contact with F0, F1, F2 individuals;
(ii) Detecting those illegally entering the country, or those coming from the pandemic-stricken areas but not complying with quarantine regulations;
(iii) Knowing gatherings with risk of COVID-19 transmission;
(iv) Or knowing other transmission risks;
Information reported by citizens will be verified immediately to facilitate contact tracking process.
The ministry called on all citizens to heighten their sense of responsibility to protect the health of themselves and their families.
