LAND RENTS CONTINUE TO SOAR

The meeting last week was co-organised by the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and World Bank Group.

STRONGER IT TIES SOUGHT WITH JAPAN
[25-06-2015] Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung sought support from former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama for co-operation in application of information technology (IT). At a meeting in Ha Noi yesterday, Dung said Viet Nam valued IT application in all dimensions of life, considering it a significant way to improve economic competitiveness and ability to govern, adding that the country has devised its own strategy to become a strong IT country.
DELOITTE: UPDATE ON NEW CIRCULAR ON CIT - JUNE 2015
[29-06-2015] The Alert update on Circular No. 96/2015/TT-BTC dated June 22, 2015 by the Ministry of Finance, providing guidance on CIT regulations per Decree 12/2015/ND-CP, amending and supplementing Circular 78/2014/TT-BTC. This Circular shall take effect from 6 August 2015, and effective from the CIT period of 2015 onwards.

VIETNAM BECOMES WORLD€™S FOURTH LARGEST GARMENT EXPORTER
[24-06-2015] Vietnam is now the fourth largest textile exporter in the world with 12.18 billion USD earned from these products in the first six months of this year, according to the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex). The figure represented a 10.26 percent increase from the same period last year.
VSIP PHU QUOC PLAN PUT ON HOLD
