The annual Oktoberfest Vietnam events at Ho Chi Minh City’s Windsor Plaza Hotel and Hanoi Daewoo Hotel are expected to be one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in Southeast Asia. This year, the festivities will take place at Windsor Plaza Hotel from Tuesday, 27th September to Sunday, 2nd October 2022, and at Hanoi Daewoo Hotel from Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th October 2022.

The launch of the Vietnam Provincial Logistics Competitiveness Index (LCI) is expected to help reduce logistics costs, support production and export development, and attract foreign investment more effectively in the future, said Lê Duy Hiệp, the Việt Nam Logistics Business Association (VLA) chairman.

Although the country has offered unilateral visa exemption and e-visas, the policy is not competitive enough as the 15-day visa exemption has yet to satisfy the need of visitors from such markets as Europe, North America and Australia, who often stay from three to four weeks in Vietnam, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST).
