WHA HONORED FOR INDUSTRIAL ZONE DEVELOPMENT WITH GREEN TRANSFORMATION STRATEGIES IN 2024
Ho Chi Minh City, 30 July 2024 – WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An Jsc has been recognized with prestigious awards in the Industrial Zone Developer with Green Transformation Strategies category at the Vietnam Industrial Property Forum (VIPF) 2024.

The VIPF Green Future Award is a highly esteemed recognition in the field of environmental sustainability. It honors organizations demonstrating exceptional commitment to eco-friendly practices and sustainable development. This award is a significant achievement for WHA Vietnam, reaffirming WHA’s role as a leader in sustainability.
WHA’s green transformation strategies include the implementation of international standard quality in design and infrastructure within its industrial parks, reliable utility services, and environmental care, integrating the use of Industry 4.0 technologies. These initiatives contribute to environmental preservation and provide a healthier, more sustainable working environment for employees and surrounding communities.
As part of the Vietnam Industrial Park Forum 2024 program, WHA participated in an exhibition to provide an in-depth introduction to the green features applied in WHA Industrial Zones and the contributions WHA has made and will continue to make, in line with the WHA Group’s slogan “We Shape the Future.”

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT SPURS LONG-TERM UPSWING FOR VIETNAMESE STOCKS
Việt Nam’s accelerating public investment is providing a critical boost to the economy and paving the way for sustained stock market gains, especially in the infrastructure, construction, materials and logistics segments. According to the Ministry of Finance, public investment disbursement reached VNĐ268.1 trillion (US$10.3 billion) by June 30, representing 32.5 per cent of the approved 2025 budget, well ahead of the 28.2 per cent rate reported in the same period last year.

HCM CITY SEES STRONG RECOVERY IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION
The Index of Industrial Production (IIP) of HCM City increased 8.6 per cent in the first half of 2025, indicating positive growth amid global trade and economic uncertainty. Manufacturing and processing grew by 8.8 per cent, electricity production and distribution by 1.5 per cent and water supply and waste treatment by 2.3 per cent.

H1 MOTORCYCLE SALES UP 6.4%
Motorcycle sales in Vietnam rose 6.4% in the first half of this year from a year earlier, backed by price cuts and promotions, industry data showed. The Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM) said its five members – Honda, Yamaha, Piaggio, SYM and Suzuki – sold a combined 1.28 million units in the period.
