WHA HONORED FOR INDUSTRIAL ZONE DEVELOPMENT WITH GREEN TRANSFORMATION STRATEGIES IN 2024
Ho Chi Minh City, 30 July 2024 – WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An Jsc has been recognized with prestigious awards in the Industrial Zone Developer with Green Transformation Strategies category at the Vietnam Industrial Property Forum (VIPF) 2024.

The VIPF Green Future Award is a highly esteemed recognition in the field of environmental sustainability. It honors organizations demonstrating exceptional commitment to eco-friendly practices and sustainable development. This award is a significant achievement for WHA Vietnam, reaffirming WHA’s role as a leader in sustainability.
WHA’s green transformation strategies include the implementation of international standard quality in design and infrastructure within its industrial parks, reliable utility services, and environmental care, integrating the use of Industry 4.0 technologies. These initiatives contribute to environmental preservation and provide a healthier, more sustainable working environment for employees and surrounding communities.
As part of the Vietnam Industrial Park Forum 2024 program, WHA participated in an exhibition to provide an in-depth introduction to the green features applied in WHA Industrial Zones and the contributions WHA has made and will continue to make, in line with the WHA Group’s slogan “We Shape the Future.”

BANKS UNDER PRESSURE TO INCREASE CHEAP CAPITAL SOURCES
The cheap capital sources have become more important for banks when they have to reduce lending interest rates to boost credit growth, while still having to increase savings interest rates to lure depositors for the past three months. In this context, the cheap capital helps banks reduce lending rates to increase competitiveness while still maintaining high net interest margins (NIM).
DEPOSITS FLOWING BACK INTO BANKS
Deposits in the banking system are increasing in tandem with rising interest rates, amid a crisis in risky asset investment channels. According to the financial reports of banks for the first half of 2024 released in the past week, Vietnam's four largest state-owned commercial banks hold the highest customer deposit amounts, totalling approximately $267 billion.
BINH DUONG REALTY MARKET ENTICES INVESTING INFLUX
In the year to date, the southern province of Binh Duong has enticed a string of foreign-led projects into its realty market, focusing on the mid-income customer segment. In early August, TT Capital Investment Corporation and two Japanese partners - Cosmos Initia and Koterasu Group - agreed to develop affordable housing line in Binh Duong province and surrounding localities.
