VIET NAM EXPO 2016 OPENS IN HN
Under the title “Strengthening regional and international economic connection,” the 26th Viet Nam International Trade Fair (Viet Nam Expo 2016) was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Over 500 enterprises from 14 domestic provinces and cities and other countries and territories like India, China, the RoK, Laos, Cambodia, and Australia partook to showcase their products at 600 booths.
Products on display include machineries, equipment, electric-electronic devices and assessories and also foods and beverages, houseware and healthcare products.
The fair is expected to promote cooperative and investment activities of domestic enterprises with their foreign partners and boost export markets when Viet Nam has recently inked a series of new-generation FTAs.
As the honourable country at the Viet Nam Expo 2016, Belarus will cooperate with Viet Nam to host a trade forum.
As scheduled, the Viet Nam export promotion forum will take place in the morning of April 14 for enterprises and trade managers to discuss export prospects and policies.
The fair will last till April 16, expecting to attract over 30,000 visitors.
