In December 2008, Vietnam and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) signed a comprehensive agreement on the avoidance of double taxation. To help the business communities in Vietnam better understand the agreement and its potential benefits to them, the Inland Revenue Department of the HKSAR Government and the General Department of Taxation (GDT) of Vietnam will give a joint briefing at the seminar on the implementation details of the agreement in both Hong Kong and Vietnam.
