CHARITABLE ART AUCTION - FROM SAIGON TO SAIGON
Artists for the Community – Online artwork auction to support poor neighborhoods severely affected by COVID-19
After over 9 weeks of operation, ‘From Saigon to Saigon’ has received generous support from donors across Vietnam and abroad. Nearly 6,000 gift packages have been delivered to the people of Saigon, carrying our wishes that the city would get well soon.
In our effort to continue aiding vulnerable neighborhoods, FSTS is fortunate enough to be accompanied by some very special benefactors. Artist Dao Anh Khanh, artist Pham To Chiem, and two young painters, Doan Nguyen Minh, and Doan Hieu Minh, have donated to FSTS four paintings that have never been revealed before. These artworks will be auctioned to provide emergency relief to low-income families who are severely affected by the pandemic.
All proceeds from the auction will be used to buy necessities for underprivileged city dwellers. As the city lockdown keeps getting extended, gift packages including groceries and basic medication will be sent to people in need, helping them make ends meet during the difficult days ahead.
