Shares rose further on the HCM Stock Exchange on Friday morning, led by banks and property firms. The benchmark VN Index added 0.35 per cent to close at 831.86 points. It gained 0.15 per cent on Thursday.

The State Bank of Viet Nam has issued a circular to amend Circular No 07/2015 on bank guarantees. VIETNAM AIR MAY LAUNCH DIRECT SERVICE TO U.S. IN LATE 2019
Vietnam Airlines (VNA) will launch long-awaited direct air service between Vietnam and the United States in late 2019, said VNA general director Duong Tri Thanh. Speaking to the Daily, Thanh said those carriers wanting to operate direct flights to the U.S. would have to meet this country’s aviation standards.
