[02-09-2016] The tourism property market has been hot this year with many new projects and increasing transaction volumes, insiders said. A report from the Ministry of Construction's Housing and Real Estate Management Department said many new tourism property projects have been on sale since July.

[21-08-2016] The Ministry of Finance proposed the government should offer a preferential corporate income tax of 10 per cent tor firms that are renovating deteriorating apartment blocks. This is aimed at attracting developers to participate in restoring unsafe old apartment buildings, which are a pressing problem in terms of living standards, safety and the urban landscape in major cities such as Ha Noi and HCM City.
CIRCULAR ISSUED TO STIPULATE NUMBER OF APARTMENTS OWNED BY FOREIGNERS

AMATA TO BUILD SECOND IZ IN VIETNAM

GROWING VN PROPERTY SALES TO FOREIGNERS
[10-07-2016] Many foreigners and Viet Kieu (overseas Vietnamese) are buying apartments in Viet Nam, especially in HCM City, according to market analysts. Over 10,000 apartments were sold in the second quarter of this year, many to foreigners who are permitted to buy up to 30 per cent of the units in a project.
