Please be informed that the requirement on vaccination records for inbound travellers who have stayed in Medium-Risk Group B specified places (including Vietnam) under Hong Kong’s latest boarding, quarantine and testing requirements effective on August 20 has been slightly adjusted.

Greetings from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Singapore. We would like to keep you informed of Hong Kong's latest border control measures for inbound travellers from medium-risk Group B specified places, including Vietnam, which will take effect tomorrow (August 20).

In view of the latest development in COVID-19 epidemic situations, the Hong Kong SAR Government has adjusted its border control measures for overseas inbound travellers based on "vaccine bubble". The new measures will take effect next Monday (August 9).

In view of the persistent unstable epidemic situation in the region and the prevalent outbreaks of cases involving the more transmissible mutant virus strains, the Hong Kong SAR Government will specify a number of countries as high-risk Group B specified places and adopt tighter boarding and quarantine measures on arrivals from these places in order to minimise the risk of case importation.

The Government announced today it will specify Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam as high-risk specified places with effect from June 4. The boarding and quarantine requirements for people arriving from these places will be adjusted.
