WELCOME CATHAY PACIFIC - COUNTRY MANAGER OF VIETNAM AND CAMBODIA TO HKBAV ADVISORY BOARD

It is with great pleasure to welcome Mr. Nicolas Masse, Country Manager of Vietnam and Cambodia, Cathay Pacific Vietnam and HKBAV’s newly appointed Advisory Board Director with effect immediately replacing Mr. Jason Choi who is moving to Japan to assume a new role.

Mr. Nicolas Masse is the newly appointed Country Manager of Vietnam and Cambodia, effective August 2023. With over two decades of experience in the aviation industry, he possesses a wealth of expertise and a track record of success in sales, marketing, and communications in both Europe and Asia.

Since joining Cathay Pacific in 2007, Mr. Masse has been recognized for his outstanding accomplishments in leading significant changes and achieving substantial success for the company over the last 12 years. He started his career with Cathay Pacific as the Marketing and Communications Manager for France, Spain, and Portugal before moving on to Cathay Dragon as the Country Manager of Cambodia in 2011. Later in 2013, Mr. Masse was appointed Corporate Sales Manager at the Hong Kong headquarters, where his expertise in market analysis and strong relationship-building skills enabled him to supervise the sales team in charge of significant worldwide corporate accounts. In 2015, he was in charge of Cathay Pacific's unique membership program for customers worldwide, the Marco Polo Club. In August 2023, after serving as the Country Manager in Korea for the previous four years, overseeing operations and commercial facets of both Passenger and Cargo, he officially moved to Ho Chi Minh City, taking on the same role as the Country Manager.

Prior to his tenure at the group, Mr. Masse garnered valuable experience and insights into the aviation industry and customer needs through his work in sales and marketing at British Airways France, as well as his role as Marketing and Communications Manager at Vietnam Airlines France.
