WELCOME THE CG FOR HIS TERM IN HCMC
The new Chinese General Consul in HCMC / HE. Wei Hua Xiang had a meeting with Mr. Michael Chiu, Chairman of the Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam on 08 July 2022.

HE. Wei Hua Xiang affirmed the development and growth of the HKBAV and expressed his appreciation for the achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in Vietnam and the economic cooperation over the years. At the same time, it is hoped that the HKBAV will continue to play the role of a bridge in economic and trade cooperation between Hong Kong and Vietnam enterprises, and make more positive contributions to promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam, especially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Vietnam.
The Consulate General will continue to support Hong Kong compatriots in Hong Kong and protect the legitimate rights and interests of Hong Kong compatriots. It is hoped that Hong Kong compatriots in Vietnam will regard the consulate general as their home, building a good contact network, effective communication, and jointly explore new ways and new ways of cooperation.

Mr. Michael Chiu said, with the support of Chinese General Consul in HCMC, the overall development of Hong Kong enterprises in Vietnam has been smooth, and the rights and interests of Hong Kong compatriots have been effectively protected. The economic and trade cooperation between the HKSAR and Vietnam has also maintained a healthy and stable development. HKBAV is willing to keep in touch closely with the Consulate General.
