MR. SURAJIT RAKSHIT – NEW GENERAL COMMITTEE MEMBER OF HKBAV
It is with great pleasure to welcome Mr. Surajit Rakshit, who has recently joined as Country Head of Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) Vietnam - HSBC Vietnam and HKBAV’s newly appointed General Committee Member with effect immediately replacing Mr. Alan Ng who is now working in HSBC Singapore.
Surajit has more than 17 years of Banking experience spanning different business functions covering Trade Finance, Cash Management and Retail Banking. He has an extensive Asia experience and has worked in India, Singapore and Hong Kong with brief stints executing client-centric strategies in Bangladesh, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. Prior to this, Surajit was part of the Regional GTRF Sales team based out of Hong Kong where he spearheaded several strategically important initiatives, including inter-regional corridor business growth, sustainability and trade digitization.
Surajit likes to experience different cultures and providing equal opportunity and talent development is his passion. He is also a discerning foodie and an ardent sports enthusiast.
