MR. MARKS PAUL CHRISTOPHER - VBF REPRESENTATIVE OF HKBAV
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Paul C. Marks will now represent the Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam (HKBAV) at the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF), succeeding Mr. Surajit Rakshit.
Mr. Marks is a lawyer at Duane Morris LLP, based in Hanoi. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, foreign investment, and international trade, particularly in capital markets across Asia. Notable transactions he advised on include IPOs for Agricultural Bank of China and People’s Insurance Corporation of China (PICC), as well as record-setting bond issuances for Ctrip.com (China) and Pertamina (Indonesia).
Before his legal career, Mr. Marks served 21 years in the United States Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. His military service included managing foreign military sales during assignments at the US Embassy in Cambodia and the US State Department.
Mr. Marks holds degrees from the United States Military Academy at West Point, the University of London SOAS, and Fordham University School of Law. He is qualified to practice law in New York and Oregon and is a licensed foreign lawyer in Vietnam.
Mr. Marks will bring his wealth of experience and dedication to his new role as HKBAV’s representative at the VBF.
