Dear HKBAV Members: Please be informed that the Chinese Consulate General in HCMC has relocated its office to the new address as below. For all issues related to visa granting and consular functions, please contact the the new address from now on.

[01.09.2011] This is an update of new members joining us in June, July and August 2011. On behalf of the Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam - Membership Subcommittee, it is our pleasure to welcome the new Members below. In the meantime, we hereby express our sincere thanks to their enthusiasm and interest in the Association.

[28-07-2011] Asia Forum is an annual event held for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2004 as hosted by the Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam (HKBAV).  This event is mainly created for the members of SE Asia HKBAs to get together to network, share experiences of running HKBA and build business interest.  It was later expanded to include member associations in Asia including China and Japan.

[15-06-11] Check out the entry visa/permit requirements for persons who wish to enter Hong Kong for leisure/ social/ business visits, employment, investment, training, study and residence. Nationals of about 170 countries and territories may visit Hong Kong visa-free for a period ranging from 7 days to 180 days. Check the webpages below to learn whether you need a visa or entry permit to enter Hong Kong for a visit or transit.

[15-06-11] HKSAR passport holders have been granted visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to visit the following countries/territories. If your destination is not among the 143 countries or territories, you should contact the relevant consulates to ascertain the visa requirements for your visit.

This new version demonstrates a number of changes resulted from recommendations of business community and government agencies. Currently, the Draft is published for further consultation.
