Bank of China (BOC) was established in February 1912 in Beijing, China. Over a century of operation, BOC becomes the most internationalized and diversified bank in China and provides a comprehensive range of financial services from more than 600 branches in 51 countries and regions, overseas institutions of the Bank totalled 542.

 

In 1917, Bank of China established its presence in Hong Kong. A century ago, BOCHK’s scale was small with fewer than 10 employees. Now BOCHK are a mainstream banking group with the most extensive branch network in Hong Kong. In line with the strategic plan of Bank of China Limited (“BOC”) and BOCHK in the ASEAN region and Hong Kong, we vigorously pushed forward business integration in Southeast Asia.

In December 1995, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited – Ho Chi Minh City Branch (formerly knew  as Bank of China HoChiMinh City Branch since 28th December 2017 before) was officially established in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the first Chinese state-owned commercial bank founded in Viet Nam.

 

During more than 20 years of development, BOCHK Ho Chi Minh City Branch has been taking advantage of prestigious brand, experienced staffs, diversified products, and worldwide network of the Group to provides financial services to both individual and corporate customers in compliance with regulatory requirement.
