[VBF INVESTMENT & TRADE WG] PREPARATION FOR MEETING WITH MPI - YOUR ISSUES NEEDED FOR DEVELOPING MEETING AGENDA - DEADLINE: 9 JUL 2021
VBF Investment & Trade Working Group (ITWG) is planning for an online meeting with the Ministry of Planning and Investment within July 2021. The discussion tends to focus mainly on challenges in implementing LOI/ LOE/ its guiding documents and obstacles to investment projects.
We would like to enclose our tentative discussion points for your reference. If you have any issues and wish to raise, please kindly send us by COB 9th July 2021 (preferably using the below proposed Template, in Vietnamese with rough translation of English) for our further action. Basing on the inputs received, ITWG will fine-tune the meeting agenda.

INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION INDEX PICKS UP 5.4% IN APRIL
In January-April period, processing and manufacturing industries grew 4.9 percent and 5.1 percent respectively. Electricity energy production and distribution expanded 1.9 percent and 7.6 percent. Water distribution, sewage and waste water treatment grew by 1.5 percent and 9,7 percent. Mining decreased by 16,7 percent.
